With two theatres, a range of galleries, family activities, restaurants, bars and cafés, as well as the accolade of the 2001 building of the year, The Lowry is an essential element of a visit to The Quays. Although entrance to the galleries is free, make the most of your visit with a guided tour or a ticket to a performance of great theatre, ballet or opera, hilarious comedy or moving drama.

Opening times
Open all year round, except Christmas Day
10am until late 7 days a week - closes at 6pm on Sun & Mon if no performance.

Admission cost
Free except for theatre events and other activities. Costs vary dependent on event.
Guided tour: £2.50.
The Galleries operate a voluntary donation scheme.
