While construction continues on the main MediaCityUK development, a corner of the site is already a fully working studio complex, creating a fledgling media community in its own right.
Formerly a 'Freshbake' Pie Factory, MediaCityUK Studios at the Pie Factory offer three sound stages and accompanying production facilities. Since opening in 2007, the studios have become the destination of choice for an increasing number of TV, film and commercial clients. Recent productions include Drop Dead Gorgeous, The Visit, Cold Blood and The Royle Family, along with several major advertising campaigns.
