All events are drop-in and FREE unless specified otherwise.

CBeebies and CBBC are celebrating their tenth birthday today and want you to join the party! Come and visit our new home in MediaCityUK, Salford, for a day of fun-filled activities for all the family. Even if you haven’t been lucky enough to get tickets for one of our events there’s plenty to see and do with photo opportunities, appearances by your favourite CBeebies and CBBC stars and lots of hands-on fun. Once Upon A Wartime

This free exhibition, specially created by IWM, is filled with all the drama of five acclaimed novels: War Horse by Michael Morpurgo, Carrie’s War by Nina Bawden, The Machine Gunners by Robert Westall, The Silver Sword by Ian Serraillier and Little Soldier by Bernard Ashley. Explore these perilous stories alongside the history of real life conflicts from 1914 to the present day - all through the eyes of fictional children.

Opening the doors especially for The Quays Open Day for one Saturday afternoon only Come and meet some of the characters of Ordsall Hall and have a go at some Tudor activities.

Catch the special shuttle coach to bring you to and from The Hall – alongside The Lowry Outlet Mall.

The Lowry quiz game developed by the THINKlab technical team at the University of Salford aims to provide users with the opportunity to experience Lowry’s paintings in an interactive way within a virtual game environment.

Digital Installations
Come and interact with new technology through these specially-created digital installations at the University

Storycircle (Goldsmith’s College) with Oasis MediaCityUK Academy
Join us as we explore photographs and images gathered from Salford past and present and weave them into a map of Salford Quays and the wider area using digital technologies.
