Imperial War Museum North
Imperial War Museum North is an iconic city landmark that offers the perfect setting for your event. The award-winning architecture by Daniel Libeskind creates a unique and inspirational atmosphere. Whatever your plans - a special event, grand, informal or intimate - we're more than able to accommodate your needs including free parking for 160 cars, a rarity for a location so close to the city centre.
Having exclusive use of the entire Museum, we offer a high degree of flexibility. Imagine dining under a suspended Harrier jump-jet, making a presentation with the backdrop of an historic artillery piece, or dancing beside a T34 Russian tank: this is one of the most unrivalled and impressive event venues in the UK.
You can also choose to incorporate the Museum's award-winning Big Picture as part of your event. This amazing 360 degree audio visual show combines sound and vision on a massive scale, and provides an unforgettable experience.
In terms of event capacity, we can cater for up to 380 guests for dinner; in the case of a reception the number can go as high as 700. If you require theatre-style, we can seat up to 300 people. Milburns are the exclusive catering company offering an array of menus. The Museum has full disabled access.
